Sensex pares gains, now up 65pts

The Sensex touched a new all-time intra-day high of 12,323. The index has now pared gains and is now up 65 points at 12,284.

ITC, ONGC and HDFC Bank have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 211, Rs 1,344 and Rs 865, respectively.

Satyam and Hero Honda have advanced 1.5% each at Rs 763 and Rs 842, respectively.

SBI, Gujarat Ambuja, Grasim, HDFC an Wipro are up over 1% each.

Dr.Reddy's has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,660.

The market breadth is extremely positive. Out of 1,628 stocks traded so far, 1233 have advanced, 367 have declined and 28 are unchanged.
