Sensex pares gains, now up 80pts

The Sensex has pared some of its gains and is now up 80 points at 10,933.

Infosys has surged over 3% to Rs 3,058. Wipro and Satyam have gained almost 2% each at Rs 479 and Rs 719, respectively. TCS has added 1.7% to Rs 1,878.

Reliance and Cipla have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 972 and Rs 240, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro (Rs 2,470), ITC (Rs 181) and Tata Power (Rs 512) are up 1% each.

Out of 2,420 stocks traded so far, 1,415 have advanced, 938 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
