TCS has zoomed nearly 6% to Rs 770. HDFC and HDFC Bank have soared over 5% each to Rs 1,812 and Rs 951, respectively.
Maruti has rallied 4.6% to Rs 573. ICICI Bank has surged 4% to Rs 540.
Jaiprakash Associates, DLF and Mahindra & Mahindra have gained around 3% each at Rs 141, Rs 406 and Rs 508, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure, ONGC, ACC and Larsen & Toubro have moved up 2.7% each to Rs 786, Rs 890, Rs 529 and Rs 2,332, respectivey.
Satyam, Bharti Airtel and SBI are up around 2.5% each at Rs 405, Rs 748 and Rs 1,166, respectively.
Ranbaxy has plunged over 7% to Rs 436.
