Sensex pares gains, up 10pts

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 47 points at 15,390, and touched a high of 15,467. The index is now up 10 points at 15,353.

The NSE Nifty is up three points at 4,650.

Ranbaxy and ICICI Bank have rallied nearly 2% each to Rs 467 and Rs 778, respectively.

Wipro and TCS have gained 1.5% each at Rs 422 and Rs 883, respectively.

NTPC, ITC and ONGC are up over 1% each at Rs 192, Rs 203 and Rs 1,017, respectively.

BHEL has dropped 2.7% to Rs 1,590. Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 2,637 and Rs 649, respectively.

Maruti and Reliance Energy have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 752 and Rs 1,148, respectively.
