The NSE Nifty is down six points at 5,222.
Reliance Energy and Jaiprakash Associates have rallied around 2% each to Rs 1,556 and Rs 292, respectively.
Larsen & Toubro has moved up 1.7% to Rs 3,195.
Hindalco has slipped over 2% to Rs 182. Wipro and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped over 1.5% each to Rs 494 and Rs 680, respectively.
SBI and TCS have also shed 1.55 each at Rs 1,796 and Rs 928, respectively. NTPC is down 1% at Rs 199.
Out of 2,668 stocks traded, 2,083 have advanced, 548 have declined and 37 are unchanged.
