Sensex pares gains, up 15pts; DLF slips 2%

The Sensex has pared gains and is now up 15 points at 16,355.

The NSE Nifty is up 13 points at 4,877.

Infosys and Satyam have surged nearly 3% each to Rs 1,460 and Rs 418, respectively.

NTPC, Tata Steel, ONGC and Grasim have gained around 2% each at Rs 194, Rs 794, Rs 978 and Rs 2,854, respectively.

Wipro, Hindalco and HDFC have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 424, Rs 203 and Rs 2,677, respectively.

TCS and Cipla are up over 1% each at Rs 864 and Rs 204, respectively.

ICICI Bank and DLF have plunged around 2.5% each to Rs 946 and Rs 661, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has dropped 2.3% to Rs 751. Ranbaxy, Mahindra & Mahindra and HDFC Bank are down 1% each at Rs 446, Rs 698 and Rs 1,345, respectively.
