Sensex pares gains, up 18pts; HDFC Bk slips 2%

The Sensex is now up 18 points at 15,522.

ICICI Bank has advanced 1.5% to Rs 908.

Reliance Energy and BHEL are up over 1% each at Rs 918 and Rs 1,919, respectively.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.6% to Rs 1,207, and HDFC has declined 1.3% to Rs 2,155.

Cipla is down 1% at Rs 170.

The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,415 stocks traded so far, 1,447 have advanced, 895 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
