Sensex pares gains, up 20pts

The Sensex has pared gains and is now up 20 points at 13,866. The index had touched a high of 13,929 in the opening trades.

HDFC Bank has advanced 1.3% to Rs 1,093. Dr.Reddy's and Hero Honda are up 1% each at Rs 808 and Rs 767, respectively.

Reliance Communications has slipped over 1% to Rs 472.

Out of 2,264 stocks traded so far, 1,378 have advanced, 815 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
