Sensex pares gains, up 211pts; Infosys up 2%

The Sensex is now up 211 points at 13,325.

Satyam has soared 5.5% to Rs 470. Wipro and TCS have surged around 3.5% each to Rs 559 and Rs 1,241, respectively. Infosys has pared gains and is now up 2% at Rs 2,087.

SBI and Bajaj Auto have rallied 3% each to Rs 996 and Rs 2,417, respectively. ACC has gained 2.5% at Rs 745.

ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro and HDFC Bank are up over 2% each to Rs 868, Rs 1,600 and Rs 978, respectively.

NTPC has shed 2% to Rs 157. Hindalco has slipped 1% to Rs 139.

Out of 2,484 stocks traded so far, 1,574 have advanced, 826 have declined and 84 are unchanged.
