Sensex pares gains, up 25pts

The Sensex has pared gains and is now up 25 points at 13,424. The index had touched a high of 13,487 in the opening trades.

Infosys and TCS have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,208 and Rs 1,098, respectively. Satyam has spurted 1.6% to Rs 432. Wipro is up 1% at Rs 547.

ICICI Bank has moved up over 1% to Rs 850.

HLL has dropped over 2% to Rs 247. NTPC, Cipla and Hindalco  have slipped around 1.5% each to Rs 136, Rs 265 and Rs 179, respectively.
