Sensex pares gains, up 334pts

The Sensex has pared some gains and is now up 334 points at 19,105. The index had touched a fresh all-time intra-day high of 19,275 earlier in the day.

Larsen & Toubro has zoomed 10% to Rs 3,801. SBI has soared 5% to Rs 2,039.

BHEL has surged over 4% to Rs 2,384, and Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 3% to Rs 797.

ONGC, Satyam and HDFC have advanced 2.5% each to Rs 1,142, Rs 472 and Rs 2,586, respectively.

TCS, ACC, Maruti and Tata Motors have gained over 2% each at Rs 1,074, Rs 1,085, Rs 1,183 and Rs 809, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's, Hindustan Unilever and ITC are down 1% each at Rs 608, Rs 218 and Rs 181, respectively.

Out of 2,766 stocks traded so far, 1,745 have advanced, 944 have declined and 77 are unchanged.
