Sensex pares gains, up 368pts

The Sensex has pared some of its gains and is now up 368 points at 9913. The index had touched a high of 10,118.

Tata Steel has zoomed over 10% to Rs 456. Satyam has surged 9% to Rs 672.

TCS has rallied 8.5% to Rs 1,685. HDFC Bank has moved up nearly 7% to Rs 743.

Bajaj Auto and HLL are up 6.5% each at Rs 2,665 and Rs 215, respectively. Wipro has gained 6% at Rs 446.

Out of 2,441 stocks traded so far, 1,997 have advanced, 403 have declined and 41 are unchanged.
