Sensex pares gains, up 5pts

The Sensex has pared most of its gains and is now up just five points at 14,811.

Hindustan Unilever has moved up 1.7% to Rs 198. Ambuja Cements has gained 1.5% at Rs 126.

HDFC, Cipla and Grasim are up around 1% each at Rs 2,022, Rs 216 and Rs 2,727, respectively.
