Sensex pares gains, up 67pts

The Sensex is now up 67 points at 11,961.

ICICI Bank has advanced over 3% to Rs 651. Grasim has surged 2.5% to Rs 2,387.

Dr.Reddy's and Gujarat Ambuja are up nearly 2% each to Rs 751 and Rs 115, respectively.

Satyam, ACC, Bajaj Auto, TCS and Tata Steel have gained 1.5% each at Rs 815, Rs945, Rs 2,818, Rs 1,012 and Rs 509, respectively.

Reliance, HLL and Infosys are the other major gainers.

Hero Honda and HDFC have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 768 and Rs 1,334, respectively.

Out of 2,556 stocks traded so far, 1,304 have declined, 1,176 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
