Sensex pares gains, up 88pts

The Sensex from a high of 19,919, has pared gains and is now up 88 points at 19,679.

Hindalco has zoomed 6% to Rs 195. NTPC and Reliance Energy have soared 3% each to Rs 245 and Rs 1,875, respectively.

Reliance, ACC and ONGC have surged 2% each to Rs 2,719, Rs 1,028 and Rs 1,324, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has moved up 1.8% to Rs 2,438. Larsen & Toubro and Dr.Reddy's have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 4,355 and Rs 610, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has slipped 1.4% to Rs 929, and Satyam has declined 1% to Rs 459.

Out of 2,638 stocks traded so far, 1,665 have advanced, 890 have declined and 83 are unchanged.
