The Sensex has now rallied 352 points (3%) at 11,300. Earlier in the day, the index opened 121 points higher at 11,067.
Relaince Infrastructure has gained 7% at Rs 687. Jaiprakash Associates has surged 6% to Rs 119.
Larsen & Toubro, SBI and Tata Steel have advanced 5.5% each to Rs 876, Rs 1,328 and Rs 283, respectively.
ICICI Bank and Tata Motors have added 5% each.
DLF, Reliance Communications, Sterlite, Mahindra & Mahindra and NTPC are up 3.5-4.5% each.
However, ITC has declined nearly 1% to Rs 190.
