Sensex rebounds; HDFC Bank up 2.8%

The Sensex has bounced back into the positive zone and is now up six points at 9624.

HDFC Bank has surged 2.8% to Rs 760.

Bharti Tele at Rs 346, Hindalco at Rs 151, Satyam at Rs 762, ONGC at Rs 1,195, HDFC at Rs 1,254, Gujarat Ambuja at Rs 88.55 and Hero Honda at Rs 877, have gained around 1% each.

Wipro, Bajaj Auto, HLL, TCS, Cipla, ITC, Dr.Reddy's and Maruti have declined 1% each.

The market breadth is fairly neutral - out of 2,549 stocks traded so far, 1,222 moved up, 1,259 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
