Sensex rebounds; NTPC, DLF lead

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up four points at 19,265.

Larsen & Toubro, HDFC Bank and HDFC have slipped over 2% each to Rs 3,990, Rs 1,642 and Rs 2,819, respectively.

BHEL has dropped 1.7% to Rs 2,385, and Mahindra & Mahindra have shed 1.4% at Rs 763.

Grasim and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each at Rs 3,590 and Rs 1,154, respectively.

NTPC has moved up 1.7% to Rs 233, and DLF has added 1.5% to Rs 959.

Hindalco has advanced 1.3% to Rs 203. Cipla, ITC, Bharti and Maruti have gained 1% each at Rs 210, Rs 196, Rs 914 and Rs 1,020, respectively.

Out of 2,869 stocks traded so far, 1,972 have declined, 873 have advanced and 25 are unchanged.
