Sensex rebounds; REL, Grasim surge 3%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up nine points at 15,431.

Cipla has soared 3.4% to Rs 178.

Reliance Energy and Grasim have surged around 3% each to Rs 801 and Rs 3,019, respectively.

TCS and Infosys are up over 1% each at Rs 1,072 and Rs 1,883, respectively.

Hindalco and Tata Motors have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 158 and Rs 691, respectively.

ITC and NTPC have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 171 and Rs 183, respectively. BHEL is down 1% at Rs 1,922.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,543 stocks traded so far, 1,561 have advanced, 909 have declined and 73 are unchanged.
