Sensex rebounds, up 106pts; Reliance gains 3%

The Sensex from a high of 19,678, tumbled to a low of 19,291 - down 387 points from the day's high. The index has rebouned into the positive zone and is now up 106 points at 19,507.

Infosys and Satyam have plunged over 4% each to Rs 1,767 and Rs 434, respectively.

Reliance Communications has dropped 2.5% to Rs 726. Bharti Airtel, Dr.Reddy's and Hindustan Unilever have shed 2% each to Rs 900, Rs 602 and Rs 192, respectively.

Reliance Energy, TCS and Wipro are down over 1% each at Rs 1,822, Rs 993 and Rs 481, respectively.

BHEL has soared 3.5% to Rs 2,820. Reliance has rallied 2.7% to Rs 2,726.

ACC, Ambuja Cements and ONGC have surged 2% each to Rs 1,042, Rs 147 and Rs 1,329, respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Steel are up 1% each at Rs Rs 749 and Rs 868, respectively.
