Sensex rebounds, up 10pts

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 10 points at 11,159.

Hero Honda, Infosys and Tata Motors has advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 685, Rs 1,735 and Rs 801, respectively.

NTPC has added 1.3% to Rs 123. Satyam, Grasim, Cipla, Ranbaxy and Maruti are up over 1% each.

Wipro and ICICI Bank have dropped over 1.5% each to Rs 507 and Rs 591, respectively.

Hindalco, Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel and BHEL are down over 1% each.

Out of 2,326 stocks traded so far, 1,466 have advanced, 785 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
