Sensex rebounds, up 10pts

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 10 points at 12,912.

Tata Steel has surged 2.4% to Rs 447. NTPC and Satyam gained 1.3% each at Rs 142 and Rs 448, respectively. HDFC moved up 1% to Rs 1,600.

HLL has shed 2% to Rs 181. Reliance Energy has dropped 1.7% to Rs 466.

Ranbaxy and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 321 and Rs 2,093, respectively.

Out of 2,584 stocks traded so far, 1,571 have advanced, 935 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
