The Sensex has rebouned into the positive zone and is now up 12 points at 16,099. The NSE Nifty is up 28 points at 4,857. Satyam and Tata Motors have plunged 4% each to Rs 396 and Rs 651, respectively. TCS has shed 2.8% at Rs 855. Infosys and Ranbaxy have slipped nearly 2% each to Rs 1,468 and Rs 440, respectively. Larsen & Toubro and Reliance have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,267, respectively. Maruti and ICICI Bank are down over 1% each at Rs 836 Rs and Rs 833, respectively. Hindalco has surged 6.5% to Rs 172. Jaiprakash Associates has rallied 2.7% to Rs 232. ITC, Hindustan Unilever and Bharti Airtel have advanced around 2% each to Rs 199, Rs 239 and Rs 819, respectively. Cipla has moved up 1.7% to Rs 209. ONGC and Ambuja Cements have gained 1.5% each at Rs 1,078 and Rs 124, respectively. DLF and BHEL are up over 1% each at Rs 665 and Rs 1,977, respectively. Out of 2,744 stocks traded so far, 1,563 have advanced, 1,108 have declined and 73 are unchanged. |
