Sensex rebounds, up 22pts; SBI gains 3%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 22 points at 14,100.

SBI has surged 2.7% to Rs 1,153. Cipla and ACC have rallied around 2% each to Rs 216 and Rs 868, respectively.

Reliance Energy has gained 1.5% at Rs 520. ONGC, Grasim and Tata Steel have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 932, Rs 2,525 and Rs 564, respectively.

Hindalco, HLL and Tata Motors are up over 1% each at Rs 148, Rs 198 and Rs 742, respectively.

Hero Honda has dropped 2.5% to Rs 688. Reliance has slipped 1.5% to Rs 1,600, and Satyam is down over 1% to Rs 473. 

Out of 2,337 stocks traded so far, 1,171 advanced, 1,077 declined and 89 are unchanged.
