Sensex rebounds, up 26pts; HDFC slips 2%

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 26 points at 14,156.

Bajaj Auto and Satyam have advanced over 2% each to Rs 2,826 and Rs 511, respectively. TCS has gained 1.8% at Rs 1,352.

Reliance Energy, BHEL and Tata Motors have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 542, Rs 2,256 and Rs 959, respectively.

Tata Steel has spurted 1% to Rs 490. ONGC and SBI are the other prominent gainers.

HDFC has slipped 2% to Rs 1,564.
