Sensex rebounds, up 32pts; ONGC leads

The Sensex opened 96 points lower at 8,939, touched a low of 8,922, and then rebounded into the positive zone. The index is now up 32 points at 9,067.

ONGC and Reliance Communications have rallied over 1.5% each to Rs 690 and Rs 166, respectively.

Reliance, Wipro and Ranbaxy are up around 1% each.

HDFC has slipped 2.3% to Rs 1,400. ICICI Bank, Grasim and DLF have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 380, Rs 1,308 and Rs 146, respectively.
