Sensex rebounds, up 34pts

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 34 points 14,501.

Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications and Larsen & Toubro have moved up 1.3% each to Rs 834, Rs 520 and Rs 2,136, respectively.

Gujarat Ambuja and HDFC have advanced 1% each to Rs 118 and Rs 1,898, respectively.

Satyam has tumbled nearly 2% to Rs 453. Cipla has shed 1.7% to Rs 206, and Bajaj Auto has dropped 1.5% to Rs 2,143.

TCS has slipped 1.3% to Rs 1,126. HUL, Maruti and Grasim are down 1% each to Rs 189, Rs 754 and Rs 2,470, respectively.

Out of 2,609 stocks traded so far, 1,491 have advanced, 1,043 have declined and 75 are unchanged.
