Sensex rebounds, up 47pts

The Sensex has rebounded in positive zone and is now up 47 points at 10,089.

ITC has surged 2.5% to Rs 170. HDFC and Reliance have advanced 2% each to Rs 1,067 and Rs 1,000, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 1.8% to Rs 743.

RCoVL has shed nearly 5% to Rs 230. Reliance Energy has dropped 3.6% to Rs 430. HDFC Bank has declined 2.5% to Rs 741.

Cipla and BHEL have slipped 2% each to Rs 213 and Rs 1,800, respectively.

NTPC is down 1.7% at Rs 108. ONGC, Satyam and Bajaj Auto have declined over 1% each to Rs 1,049, Rs 665 and Rs 2,570, respectively.

Out of 2,171 stocks traded so far, 1,705 have declined, 414 have advanced and 52 are unchanged.
