Sensex rebounds, up 4pts; breadth turns +ve

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up four points at 13,775.

Bajaj Auto has soared over 3% to Rs 2,690. Infosys and TCS have rallied 1.5% each to Rs 2,002 and Rs 1,247, respectively.

SBI, NTPC and Reliance Communications have advanced around 1% each at Rs 1,136, Rs 153 and Rs 469, respectively.

ACC has shed 2% to Rs 858. HDFC has slipped 1.7% to Rs 1,652.

HLL, HDFC Bank, Grasim and Cipla have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 187, Rs 998, Rs 2,454 and Rs 205, respectively.

ONGC has declined 1.3% to Rs 878. Bharti Aritel, Dr.Reddy's and Larsen & Toubro are the other prominent losers.

The market breadth has turned positive - out of 1,953 stocks traded so far, 965 have advanced, 930 have declined and 58 are unchanged.
