Sensex rebounds, up 5pts; TCS weak

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up six points at 13,781.

SBI has soared 3.5% to Rs 1,119. Hero Honda and Reliance Energy have surged over 2.5% each to Rs 698 and Rs 518, respectively.

Tata Steel and Bharti Airtel have gained 1.5% each at Rs 561 and Rs 827, respectively.

Bajaj Auto, ICICI Bank and Ranbaxy were up around 1% each at Rs 2,560, Rs 850 and Rs 392, respectively.

TCS has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,235. Cipla and HLL have shed 1.7% each to Rs 208 and Rs 191, respectively.

ONGC has slipped 1.4% to Rs 909. Infosys and ACC are down 1% each at Rs 1,982 and Rs 877, respectively.

Out of 2,614 stocks traded so far, 1,433 have declined, 1,080 have advanced and 101 are unchanged.
