Sensex rebounds, up 6pts; breadth +ve

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up six points at 13,165.

Hindalco has surged nearly 4% to Rs 143. Hero Honda and Bajaj Auto have rallied over 3% each to Rs 690 and Rs 2,595, respectively.

Grasim has surged 2.6% to Rs 2,212. ACC and Gujarat Ambuja has added around 1.5% each to Rs 890 and Rs 113, respectively.

HDFC and Tata Steel have advanced around 2% each to Rs 1,541 and Rs 461, respectively.

BHEL and Ranbaxy have gained 1.7% each at Rs 2,210 and Rs 349, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro and HDFC Bank have slipped around 2% each to Rs 1,512 and Rs 962, respectively. ITC has shed 1.7% to Rs 170.

The market breadth is positive - out of 2,062 stocks traded so far, 1,328 have advanced, 688 have declined and 46 are unchanged.
