Sensex rebounds, up 70pts; SBI leads

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 70 points at 18,672.

SBI has rallied 2.5% to Rs 2,209. Hindalco and Bajaj Auto have surged 2% each to Rs 189 and Rs 2,470, respectively.

TCS and ITC have gained 1.2% each at Rs 960 and Rs 187, respectively.

Tata Steel, Cipla and Maruti are up 1% each at Rs 830, Rs 183 and Rs 960, respectively.

Reliance Energy has dropped 2.5% to Rs 1,651. NTPC and DLF have shed 2% each at Rs 235 and Rs 852, repsectively.

HDFC and Reliance Communications have slipped 1.4% each to Rs 2,563 and Rs 673, respectively.
