Sensex recovers, down 10pts

The Sensex has recovered smartly from the day's low and is now down 10 points at 15,587.

TCS and Wipro have dropped around 1.5% each to Rs 1,030 and Rs 460, respectively. Satyam and Infosys have slipped over 1% each to Rs 437 and Rs 1,848, respectively.

Tata Motors has shed 1.3% to Rs 694. Ranbaxy is down over 1% at Rs 414.

SBI and Maruti are the other prominent losers.

HDFC has advanced 1.4% to Rs 2,133, and Tata Steel has added 1.2% to Rs 702.

Out of 2,719 stocks traded so far, 1,410 have advanced, 1,240 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
