Sensex recovers, down 5pts

The Sensex recovered all its losses and is now down five points at 13,932. The index had slipped to a low of 13,848.

Satyam has surged 1.7% to Rs 469. Hindalco has gained 1.6% at Rs 178.

Ranbaxy and TCS are up 1% each at Rs 389 and Rs 1,120, respectively.

Reliance Energy has shed almost 2% to Rs 543. ACC and Cipla have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,150 and Rs 249, respectively.

Dr.Reddy's and Reliance Communications are down 1% each.

Out of 2,589 stocks traded so far, 1,651 have declined, 876 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
