Sensex recovers; HDFC moves up 3%

The Sensex has recovered all its losses and is now flat at 11,145.

HDFC has rallied 2.6% to Rs 1,272. Hindalco and Cipla have advanced over 2% each to Rs 168 and Rs 237, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Wipro and ACC are up 1% each at Rs 597, Rs 511 and Rs 876, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has slipped 1.7% to Rs 2,639. ITC has shed 1.5% to Rs 176.

Satyam, Ranbaxy, ONGC and Reliance Communications are down 1% each at Rs 757, Rs 396, Rs 1,192 and Rs 284, respectively.

Out of 2,434 stocks traded so far, 1,405 have advanced, 947 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
