Sensex recovers, now flat; SBI soars 3%

The Sensex has recovered from the day's low of 20,717, and is now almost flat at 20,830 - up three points.

SBI has soared 3% to Rs 2,512.

Hindalco and DLF have surged 1.8% to Rs 206 and Rs 1,216, respectively.

Reliance Communications and BHEL have advanced nearly 1.5% each to Rs 805 and Rs 2,470, respectively.

Tata Steel, Tata Motors and Reliance have gained 1.3% each at Rs 865, Rs 773 and Rs 3,170, respectively.

Bharti Airtel has tumbled 3.3% to Rs 933, and Wipro have slipped nearly 3% to Rs 472.

Ambuja Cements has dropped nearly 2% to Rs 136. HDFC and TCS have shed 1.7% each at Rs 3,007 and Rs 9733, respectively.

Hindustan Unilever and ACC have declined 1.5% each to Rs 221 and Rs 885, respectively. Infosys is down 1.3% at Rs 1,560.
