Sensex recovers partially, down 94pts

The Sensex has recovered some of its losses and is now down 94 points at 12,272.

TCS has dropped 2.5% to Rs 991, and BHEL has slipped 2% to Rs 2,319.

NTPC and HDFC have shed 1.7% each to Rs 131 and Rs 1,453, respectively.

ITC, HDFC Bank, Hindalco and SBI have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 185, Rs 906, Rs 170 and Rs 1,019, respectively.

Reliance Energy and Tata Motors are up around 1% each at Rs 491 and Rs 878, respectively.

Out of 2,453 stocks traded so far, 1,332 have declined, 1,041 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
