Sensex recovers partially, Grasim spurts

The Sensex has recovered most of its losses and is now down 34 points at 12,339. The index had touched a low of 12,261 in the opening trades.

Reliance Communications and Tata Steel have dropped 1.3% each to Rs 349 and Rs 530, respectively.

HDFC and Reliance Energy have slipped over 1% each to Rs 1,415 and Rs 475, respectively.

Grasim has gained 1.5% at Rs 2,557. ACC, Cipla and HLL are the other notable gainers.
