The Sensex has touched a high of Rs 14,556 and continues to maintain the up move. The index is now at 14,554, up 304 points.
The BSE auto index has soared 4% to Rs 5,014.
Hero Honda and Tata Motors have advanced around 5% each to Rs 1,614 and Rs 310, respectively.
Bharti Airtel, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Infrastructure have added over 4% each to Rs 821, Rs 750 and Rs 1,104, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates is up 3.5% at Rs 205. There are no major losers so far on the BSE.
The market breadth is fairly positive- out of 2,131 shares traded, 1,502 have advanced and 558 have declined so far on the BSE.
