Sensex sheds 205pts; ONGC slips 3%

The Sensex is now down 205 points at 14,330.

Tata Motors has tumbled 3.8% to Rs 684. ONGC has plunged 3% to Rs 868.

BHEL has dropped 2.7% to Rs 1,345. ACC and HDFC have slipped around 2.5% each to Rs 816 and Rs 1,852, respectively.

Tata Steel, ICICI Bank, ITC and HDFC Bank have declined over 2% each to Rs 626, Rs 920, Rs 158 and Rs 1,136, respectively.

Hindalco has moved up 1.5% to Rs 148.

Out of 2,546 stocks traded so far, 1,485 have declined, 978 have advanced and 83 are unchanged.
