Sensex slips 102pts; HLL, ONGC drop 2%

The Sensex is now down 102 points at 13,870.

HLL and ONGC have dropped nearly 2% each to Rs 236 and Rs 846, respectively.

Tata Motors, Satyam and Wipro have shed 1.5% each to Rs 877, Rs 460 and Rs 577, respectively.

Reliance, Bajaj Auto, TCS and Hindalco are down 1.3% each to Rs 1,283, Rs 2,668, Rs 1,178 and Rs 181, respectively.

Reliance Energy (REL) has soared over 3% to Rs 559. NTPC has surged 1.6% to Rs 154, and Grasim has added 1.3% to Rs 2,784.

Dr.Reddy's and Gujarat Ambuja are the other prominent gainers.

Out of 2,574 stocks traded so far, 1,345 have declined, 1,151 have advanced and 78 are unchanged.
