Sensex slips 103pts; Grasim, Rel Comm drag

The Sensex is now down 103 points at 14,300.

Reliance Communications and Grasim have slipped over 2% each to Rs 453 and Rs 2,595, respectively. HDFC and Tata Motors have declined nearly 2% each to Rs 1,660 and Rs 852, respectively.

ONGC, Maruti and Gujarat Ambuja have shed 1.6% each to Rs 890, Rs 899 and Rs 130, respectively.

SBI, Wipro and BHEL are down over 1% each to Rs 1,117, Rs 671 and Rs 2,354, respectively.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.4% at Rs 397. ITC and Reliance are the other major gainers.

Out of 2,568 stocks traded, 1,781 have declined, 719 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
