Sensex slips 18pts after positive start

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 19 points at 13,176, and then spurted to a high of 13,190. The index, thereafter, slipped into the negative zone to touch a low of 13,099 - down 91 points from the day's high.

The index is now down 18 points at 13,139.
