Sensex slips 18pts; Rel Comm drops 3%

The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 18 points at 12,526.

Reliance Communications has tumbled 3% to Rs 379. Bharti Airtel has slipped 1% to Rs 720.

Tata Motors has rallied 2% to Rs 741. Dr.Reddy's has surged 1.6% to Rs 686.

Cipla, Tata Steel, Grasim and Ranbaxy are up over 1% each at Rs 230, Rs 438, Rs 2,038 and Rs 314, respectively.

The market breadth is slightly positive - out of 1,635 stocks traded so far, 846 have advanced, 727 have declined and 62 are unchanged.
