Sensex slips 61pts; Bharti, HDFC drop

The Sensex has slipped deeper into red and is now up down 61 points at 10,680.

Bharti Airtel and HDFC have dropped 2.5% each to Rs 385 and Rs 1,160, respectively. Bajaj Auto has slipped over 2% to Rs 2,490.

Wipro, Infosys, HLL and Reliance are down nearly 1.5% each to Rs 483, Rs 1,630, Rs 242 and Rs 985, respectively. Larsen & Toubro is down 1% to Rs 2,175.

Dr.Reddy's has soared nearly 4% to Rs 1,420. SBI has rallied 3% to Rs 787. BHEL and Grasim have gained nearly 2% each to Rs 1,990 and Rs 2,114, respectively.

Tata Steel has advanced 1.6% to Rs 504. Ranbaxy and Hindalco has moved up 1% each to Rs 370 and Rs 167, respectively.

Out of 2,316 stocks traded so far, 1,312 have advanced, 926 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
