Sensex slips 68pts; ACC, Rel Com drop 2%

The Sensex is now down 68 points at 14,584.

Gujarat Ambuja has shed 3% to Rs 137. Satyam has slipped 2.6% to Rs 473.

ACC and Reliance Communications have declined over 2% each to Rs 1,045 and Rs 478, respectively.

Reliance Energy, Tata Steel, TCS, Infosys, Bharti and Maruti are down around 1% each at Rs 559, Rs 456, Rs 1,287, Rs 2,345, Rs 759 and Rs 954, respectively.

Bajaj Auto has advanced 3% to Rs 3,097. Grasim and Tata Motors are the other prominent gainers.

Out of 2,529 stocks traded, 1,745 have declined, 738 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
