TCS, Wipro and HDFC have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 1,259, Rs 610 and Rs 1,580, respectively.
Cipla, Grasim and Satyam are down around 1.5% each to Rs 254, Rs 2,795 and Rs 508, respectively.
Dr.Reddy's has advanced 2% to Rs 824. Tata Motors, Reliance Energy and Ranbaxy gained around 1% each at Rs 951, Rs 531 and Rs 416, respectively.
Out of 2,511 stocks traded so far, 1,574 have advanced, 862 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
