Sensex slips; Cipla plunges 5%

The Sensex from a high of 14,168, tumbled into red to a low of 13,01. The index is now down 10 points at 13,979.

Cipla has tumbled over 5% each to Rs 168.

ACC has shed 2.3% to Rs 915. Wipro has dropped 2% to Rs 438.

Satyam has declined 1.8% to Rs 409. Reliance Energy, ICICI Bank and Larsen & Toubro are down 1% each at Rs 685, Rs 822 and Rs 2,287, respectively.

ITC has gained 2.3% at Rs 156. BHEL has moved up 1.3% to Rs 1,610.
