Sensex slips deeper into red, down 104pts

The Sensex has slipped deeper into red and is now down 104 points at 12,440.

Reliance Communications has shed 3.7% to Rs 376. Larsen & Toubro and Infossy has slipped 2% each to Rs 1,464 and Rs 2,040, respectively.

SBI, HLL, HDFC Bank and Reliance Energy have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 907, Rs 175, Rs 905 and Rs 456, respectively.

Grasim, Gujarat Ambuja and ACC are down over 1% each to Rs 1,995, Rs 105 and Rs 724, respectively.

Tata Motors has rallied 1.5% to Rs 737.

Out of 2,250 stocks traded so far, 1,475 have declined, 707 have advanced and 68 are unchanged.
