Sensex slips, down 18pts

The Sensex has slipped into the negative zone and is now down 18 at 14,517.

NTPC has moved up 1.5% to Rs 162. Larsen & Toubro has added 1.3% to Rs 1,970.

Hindalco and Satyam have spurted 1% each to Rs 148 and Rs 468, respectively.

Tata Motors has slipped 1.3% to Rs 702. Hero Honda, HDFC and HDFC Bank are the other notable losers.
